A few of you have let me know that it would be more socially acceptable if I simply update every chapter, or update pages weekly. I can’t seem to do weekly, to my shame. However, I plan to update when I get the next clump done.

I work on my webcomic in secret whenever I can, but it averages out to about 20 minutes a day, and I still have 30 pages to go before the next update—if things work out. Here’s a sneak peak of what I’m working on today. Thanks for occasionally checking back on this comic. I don’t know if I would if I were in your shoes, but the positive responses have meant the world to me.

Sorry about the quality in this comic up-to-date. It’s been slow and methodical–when I started this project I barely knew what a webcomic was, and this method of storytelling was tricky. There was a part in the middle where I was really productive but with stunningly poor quality because I was on surgery meds and totally high. I can see things wrong with every page even now. But here’s hoping the second chapter moves along at a more competent art style as the story picks up the pace.

Hi all, it’s spring break. That means time for comic pages! Yay!

And we’re back in Squirrel’s house.

Eh, sorry about the perspective on this one. I thought I would draw it as well as ink it in Photoshop, but that was an awful idea. I don’t know why I ever thought of it. Two pages away from finishing the intro volume. I just need to color the bloody pages. And no, David. They’re not actually bloody…well, not necessarily.

Whoo! Finally got finished with a backlog of projects, and now I finally can work on fun stuff again! Sorry for being lame. I wished for a colorist this Christmas, so I would never have to color another page, but instead I got an electric blanket.

As awesome as that is, it means that aside from being toasty warm, I will still be slowly working through these coloring pages on my own turtle-esque schedule.

So school starts next week for me, and with my client list picking up, I may be a bit overwhelmed, but of course I will do my best for this thankless comic.  Sigh. I’m such a martyr. Like this extremely detailed page for instance. Look at the linework! The colors! The…oh wait. I guess this is kind of a copout page. Sorry.
